Emergency Snow Removal To help improve Troy this month, please write to your councilperson and mayor to request implementation and enforcement of an emergency snow removal system. Our streets are usually a mess for days and sometimes weeks after a snowstorm because the plows must work around the parked vehicles and cannot completely clear the streets. This type of system helps the City because: It's safer, looks cleaner, is more efficient, would most likely save money by decreasing the plowing time, provides more parking spaces for residents and shoppers, and reflects an efficiently run government. Although this might be a temporary inconvenience to some, it would provide long term benefits to all. In cooperation with Troy United Ink Corp., a not-for-profit corporation
