Community Gardens' Annual Benefit Brunch

Capital District Community Gardens will host Its tenth Annual Benefit Brunch on Sunday, May 4, from 10am to 2:00pm The brunch will take place at the Capriccio Banquet Theater, 33 Second Street, in historic downtown Troy.

The brunch is a unique coming together of community gardeners and supporters of community gardening, featuring a feast of foods prepared and donated by gardeners, supporters and local businesses. A hot and cold brunch buffet table will offer a wide selection to choose from. Music will be provided by Andy Bryce.

As an added feature this year, Capital District Community Gardens is holding a silent auction at the Brunch. Auction items have been donated by individuals and local businesses and include various works of art and many gardening related items. Those unable to attend the Brunch who would like to bid, are welcome to submit a proxy by calling Community Gardens' office (274-8685) for an auction listing and proxy form.

All proceeds from the brunch and the auction will benefit Community Gardens programs. Tickets for the Brunch are $15 for adults and $5 for children under ten years old, if purchased in advance.
