Troy Enterprise Community - We're Looking for Ideas

Below is an open letter for anyone interested in working with the Enterprise Community, a nearly $2 million grant aimed at the Downtown & North Central Neighborhoods. We hope to hear from a wide variety of people. If you would like someone to explain the Enterprise Community program & the "Idea Paper", we would be happy to schedule a representative to explain the program & help interested residents fill in the form.

Mark Pattison
Dear Resident:
The city of Troy is looking for suggestions to improve the area between Ferry Street and 101st Streets and between the Hudson River and Ninth Street. Federal grant money has been awarded for eligible activities within two neighborhoods, Downtown and North Central, to do the following things:
  • Organize the neighborhood/Do neighborhood projects
  • Create jobs
  • Build or improve roads, parks, and other public facilities
  • Develop or retain business
  • Create loan fund
  • Develop youth services, education, job training

Do you have an idea which could help make these things happen?

Perhaps you would like to start a business, or expand/retain a business, or have a program for your kids. Please take a moment to jot down your idea and return it to:
