Something New...

Something exciting

Something unique

Something for everyone

Of all ages to see...

That sign has been in the window of 44 Third Street for many months, arousing curiosity and, as time went on, raising doubts about whether a new business would, in fact, ever occupy the site.

The mystery is over. TUI has learned that the "something…" will be a travel agency which is described as unique. The proprietors are Kathy and Robert Close. They have combined experience in the travel field with innovative concepts for showing would-be travelers just what their travel accommodations would be like.

Scheduled for a Grand Opening later this month, the new travel agency will contain replicas of an ocean liner and an Amtrak train compartment. There also will be a tanning booth to allow people bound for sunny beaches to get a head start on their tan. Another feature will be an auditorium-type conference room to be used for talks and video presentations by major cruise company representatives.
