Jaycees

Frank Geobel 274-8438

Do you want to expand your circle of social and business relationships? Would you like a chapter in Troy?

Well, the Jaycees could be for you! The Jaycees provide young men and women between the ages of 21-39 the opportunity to develop personal and leadership skills through local community service. The Jaycees is also known as the Junior Chamber of Commerce, which originally began in 1920. There are several other chapters in the Capital District, such as the Albany and Colonie Jaycees.

There are a variety of projects done by all the chapters, such as haunted houses, meet the candidate night, community service/fundraising, how to buy or lease a car, resume writing, time management, wine tasting, public speaking, public relations, marketing and entrepreneurship. If you are interested in learning more about the Jaycees, contact either Vicki Beyers at 394-0987 or Frank Geobel at 274-8438.
