"A Canoe Trip Down the Hudson River." Fred LeBrun, columnist for the Albany Times Union will present highlights and reflections on his latest adventure, an 18-day journey down the Hudson River. LeBrun and two colleagues recently traveled the full 306-mile length of the river from its headwaters on Mt. Marcy in the pristine Adirondacks to its outlet in the bustle of New York Harbor.

Water and Walks: Favorite Spots in Rensselaer County

Claire Schmitt has walked the woods of the Capital District for 41 years and written four books to introduce others to the places she has explored.

Old Cemetaries in Rensselaer County. Warren Broderick of the Rensselaer-Taconic Land Conservancy will discuss folklore and grave rubbings from early cemeteries in Rensselaer County.

Special Exhibit: Memento Interactive computer installation with CD-ROM by Ju-Mei Shieh. An interactive fictional diary with images and sound exploring the personal relationships and struggles of a family dealing with diabetes and dialysis.
