South Troy Boys & Girls Club New Home! 918 Fifth Avenue 270-7878 The South Troy Boys and Girls Club has a new home! The South Troy Boys and Girls Club is open in a brand new beautiful building at 918 Fifth Avenue just south of the Canal.
The club is open Monday thru Friday
The club plans to extend open hours and memberships to adults in the near future. Current membership dues are $10 per year of unlimited participation. The Club has a large gymnasium open for sports and group activities. Basketball is a very popular choice. In addition, there is a large auditorium with great potential to accommodate large group activities and even has a stage for possible performances. The Club also has a computer room, an arts and crafts room, a game room equipped with a new pool table, foosball table and air hockey table. A small scale game table which has ping pong, air hockey, pool and shuffle board is available for younger children. All ages have access to popular board games. Also available to members is a "power hour" which allows them to receive help with their homework and access to computers. A large well lighted dance room is equipped with a wall of mirrors and is now offering baton lessons on Fridays, 4-5pm. If interested in these lessons call Alta Reynolds at 274-7294.
