New President of HVCC

John Buono has been named President of his alma mater, Hudson Valley Community College. The former Rensselaer County Executive and state Dormitory Authority Director called the appointment the "capstone" of his public service career. Mr. Buono received an associate's degree in liberal arts from HVCC in 1968, and a bachelor's degree in political science from SUNY Albany.

At the 99th Annual Chamber of Commerce Dinner, Chamber President Timothy Hulbert introduced Mr. Buono, for the first time publicly, as "President" of HVCC.
