Fifth-Annual Farm Tour to be held in Northern Rensselaer County - Saturday, June 5th - 10:00am to 5:00pm Sunday, June 6th - 12:00 noon to 5:00pm

For the fifth year a group of farmers in Rensselaer County will open there farms and welcome the public in a effort to educate the public on the diversity of farming and farming alternatives.

The tour features six different farms stretching a 40 mile "drive yourself" route though the country side. Stop at one or all of the locations on the farm tour.

Visitors can see a variety of animals including American Bison, Llamas, Geese, Dairy Goats & Kids. Products will also be available including, catnip, goose eggs, soap, crafts, herbs, bison meat, skulls and leather. A Beekeeping demo, will also be featured.

Over 400 people visited the farms last year, pack a lunch and spend a day relaxing in beautiful Rensselaer Country.
