Virtual Learning and Training Center (VLTC) On Friday October 15th, 1999 a new era in technology innovation and community commitment was introduced in Troy, NY. The VLTC was inaugurated in a ceremony featuring Mayor Mark Pattison of Troy, who presented two checks - one from the Troy Enterprise Community and one from the City of Troy - to Education 21, Inc., the creators of the VLTC. Housed at the historic Frear Building in downtown Troy (next to the Atrium), the VLTC is today's gateway to tomorrow's technology. With everything from job placement to software training to creativity classes for students, the VLTC will change and enhance the fabric of life and learning in Troy and beyond. Presentations were also made by supporting organizations, including IKON Office Solutions, TAG, EmpireOne, the Ark and others. For more information about the VLTC contact Dr. Peter Stohl at 39 1st Street, Troy or call 270-0126. You may also send e-mail to educ21@aol.com or visit their website at www.education21.org.
